This is Rosie's DM4 which is a cider proudly named after my 1956 Nuffield DM4 tractor. This tractor has helped out with cider making duties over the past 7 years, everything from fetching and carrying to powering the old apple scratter. It even made the trip out from our farm to Onslow park steam fair (36 miles over the Horseshoe Pass) to feature in the apple pressing demonstration over the past few years.
This cider (not Cidre) is made using a good proportion of Bulmers Norman apples which provide a good tannin hit - so much so, the Sweet DM4 comes over more as a medium and the Medium DM4 more as a dry.
DM4 is at its best helping out with cheese or meat dishes and has a slightly lower ABV content of 6.0%
Rosie's DM4 is only available lightly carbonated in 500ml bottles, medium or sweet.
